I'd rather speak "turtle." If the bear came to life when I didn't want him to, he'd be a pest - wake me up at night, etc. What if the bear turned out to be like "Chucky?" Too many variables - talking with turtles is much better. Then when I go snorkeling, I could reassure them that I won't harm them.
Twenty years ago, or maybe two

Well..Would I still be able to speak human too!? Ya know, if I took the turtle option..
